Good software starts
with understanding the work.
I’m Christian Mandefro, a developer building AI systems. Spine is how I’m bringing that work to owner-led trade businesses.
Why start here?
An impressive automation can still solve the wrong problem. I want to understand the job as it happens: the people, information, decisions, and workarounds that keep it moving.
That gives us a basis for deciding what to simplify, what software can help with, and what should stay with a person. The goal is useful working systems—not an AI feature for its own sake.
Where things stand
Spine has a written method and working research software. Parts of the software have been tested against controlled examples.
No client engagement has been completed end to end. There are no client results or testimonials to point to, and the proposed longer engagement has not been proven in practice.
That should shape the scope, expectations, and terms of any first project.

What has the software demonstrated?
It can keep evidence separate from interpretation, record who is responsible for a decision, and preserve changes for review. Controlled software tests check those behaviours. They do not prove the decisions are right in a real business.
What is still being researched?
The outside-in diagnostic can calculate a partial view from public review evidence, but it has not shown enough useful distinction between similar businesses. It is not a readiness certificate or a substitute for understanding your actual operation.
What does the website demo prove?
It shows how a proposed job flow connects information, software, and people. It uses fictional details, sends nothing, and has no connection to a customer system. It does not demonstrate a deployed automation or a business result.
